While these guys are both criminals and fools, they are putting the money to more socially productive use. I want to see a Western country ban crypto outright and also make its theft legal, like privateers in the East India Company.

This is half right in that, if the constraint is training materials, then it’ll create an arms race for data. There’s so much more of it to be had on the internet, and then there’s the real world, untapped.
