TFW a feature request lands 5 years later 😱 .

looks like twitter․com no longer redirects to x․com 🤔

why, when quitting apps on macOS 27, do apps remain "Running in Background" when I wanted to quit them entirely? 😤 .

a random @github user assigned themselves to a PR of mine (which had already been merged, btw) and approved it 🫪 thanks, I guess (?) .

TFW due to crossposting you tag the incorrect account 😬 .

hey twitter @x i didn't ask for this tab😤 .

are you interested in trying @claudeai Pro for free for a whole week?

media latam estará en @nerdearla méxico en noviembre... y nosotros en @boyaca_dev buscando ~300 personas para asistir a #BoyaConf2026 🥲

TFW the email you had scheduled to be sent did not sent and you figure it out 3 days later and only because the expected recipient asks you about it 😪 .

anyone else facing this issue on @apple macOS 27? 😪 maximizing windows doesn't work until auto-hide/show dock is toggled off and back on .

Mi primera @nerdearla y qué increíble experiencia ha sido!

• yes, i asked @raycast for a cheaper plan
• yes, i used to pay for pro, but it felt like a lot for 4 of 11 features i'd use
• yes, @raycast deserves every cent. i love it and keep recommending it
• yes, i'd pay for a cheaper plan with just byok, chat sync, translator and themes

see y'all next week ☠️ .

this is really helpful but i feel the icon and text are slightly too big 😬 .

TIL ELI5 (the acronym) .

success comes from leaving room to adapt and improve

i some times think i could've been a good QA 🧪 (or an annoying one tbh) .

for some reason @typefully thinks I'm offline when I'm not (this post was successfully scheduled with it) 😪 .

it's @apple OS releases day 😎 .

it's @apple releases day 😎

TIL pithy 🤓

I’ve been using Jomo for a week and my screen time is already down. It’s reliable, and it enforces a wait between unlocks, which is exactly what I struggle with most. Highly recommend it.

Use code DQ9ZL5 to get 14 days of Jomo Plus for free: 👉

i've used Miguel Solorio's Symbols icons in VS Code for years and always wanted them on the web too. so i went ahead and with the help of claude and an open source browser extension, built one to do that 😁 .

is it ok that i made an open source project with the help of claude code? 😬🫠

and now we wait 🫩

TFW you try to execute a git commit message 🤦‍♂️ .

Goal: publishing an extension for Microsoft Edge Obstacle: Microsoft's Partner Center 😭

i had forgotten how awful it is to use Gmail without the Simplify Gmail extension by @leggett 📬 .

Desde 2019 hacemos comunidad tech en Boyacá: meetups, talleres y una conferencia que se convirtió en el evento de software más grande de la región.

I can no longer say "You're right" without feeling like an AI 🥲

some @Outlook Spanish translations are just terrible 🤦‍♂️

when did @typefully remove the GIF search? 🙃 .

why can't @apple make a black keys Magic Keyboard without a numeric keypad? .

TIL I can now crosspost to Substack using @typefully 😁

i truly hope @raycast and @nuphystudio release a Raycast keycaps set for existing Air75 v3 users 🥹 .

GitHub Copilot UI >>> @ClaudeAI UI @AnthropicAI (on VS Code)

linkedin is the only "social" platform that doesn't keep me doomscrolling... all because of the cringe posts 😬 .

hey @AnthropicAI @claudeai would you mind letting me set a password to sign in? waiting for a link or code feels slow 🐌 .

viendo el line-up de speakers me aumentó el hype por @nerdearla 😁

caught a cold. weekend ruined. 😪 .

hey @typefully would you mind reverting the change that requires confirming a post schedule? 😪 or at least add an option to not requiring confirmation, please? 🙏

dear fellow frontend developers, please test your sites on 4K screens or viewports to avoid blank spaces and cut-off content 😪 .

anyone around with a @CabinZero classic tech 28L backpack? 😅 what do you think of it? .

idk how i got this but 😬 .

@discord made the mobile app so ugly omg revert! 😤

alguien por aquí va a asistir a Nerdearla en Argentina? 👀 es un evento gratuito, no se lo pueden perder 👇

"keep my eyes to serve, my hands to learn"

.

wth? why they not simply donate them or something? .

i've had an idea for a tool to build for quite some time but never really found the time to dedicate to do so... i wonder if it's time to leverage ai to help me make it happen 🧐

new pfp who dis 🦒 .

since when does @github use a pancake for their sidebar menu button? 🤣 .

TIL: shill .

hey @discord this is genuinely frustrating 😕 why won't you let me edit a long message I sent when I had nitro? 😤 .

I just found this as the only addition in a fork of a repo of mine and it felt kinda wholesome 😅 .

ok well then tell me which ones so i can get it all right 😠 .

welp, Tahoe isn't as bad as I thought but I admit I'm really excited for the improvements announced for Golden Gate 😌👌 .

after months of resisting upgrading to macOS Tahoe, I was finally "forced" to do so (formatted my laptop 😪) .

don't postpone joy 😁

if you, like me, have been struggling to reduce your screen time and/or regain focus and avoid doomscrolling, you should really check @opalapp out! 🪎

felt like a good day to rock my @NxDevTools socks 😎 thanks for the gift @jeffbcross 🤘 .

hey @github let me do my work pls 😫 .

i recently found this cool app to count days down to events, trips, important dates, etc.

and you should try it too, it's free! 😎 .

why does @apple photos have two 3-dot menu buttons? 😵‍💫😭 it's really confusing, I'd even say a bad UX pattern .

hey @1Password you almost gave me a heart attack! 😫 .

hey @github you say we can "create a new tag" from here but there's no option to so do? 😭 .

NASA made such a cool thing 🤩 .

TIL 😯

Such a useful and complete tool that simply does its job .

wth twitter 😠 just let me in or let me verify it's me but don't lock me out! 😠😤 .

being able to dump my thoughts into a queue that will post them later is just so useful ⚡️

TIL renderToStaticMarkup and renderToString 🤯

turns out being away from your phone and letting your thoughts wander actually boosts your creativity 🌈 .

if you would like to post to multiple social networks from a single place, Typefully is definitely your go-to. it's the best tool to achieve that 😎

sth sth sth

yes, I know AI could help me make those pending things on my website

no, I don't want to use it, I want to feel the joy of working on it myself, creating bugs, resolving them etc.

🤓

after working hard on multiple things for my website i kinda feel exhausted

i still have a few things planned and i'd like to work on them asap, but at the same time, i think i'll just take a break for a bit

🫩

social.lol is such a nice place that i've had more interactions in a few days than in years on mastodon[.]social (or any other social media platform tbh) 🥹 .

my /now page is now 😅 available on my website 🚀 if you'd like to know what I'm currently up to, you can check it out!

it has multiple dynamic widgets that will update automatically so the page will almost always be up-to-date 😉

.

idk why but the new Vercel UI feels ... slow 🐌 (for me) compared to the previous one 🤔 .

getting errors trying to upgrade a project to Astro v6 that worked and built perfectly fine with the latest v5 😪

oh safari why do you have to make us web devs suffer this much 😩

oh if only @typefully had a cheaper plan for hobby / small creators 😪 .

thanks to @typefully API I was able to setup automatic posting to jf.status.lol 😎 now I can post to all my social media from a single platform .

omg i hadn't updated my cal[.].com profile in a while 😬

tfw you wait a few minutes for a deployment to complete only to find out something went wrong and it's not looking the way you expected it to 😭

if you didn't know about omg[.]lol yet, go check it out! 🤩

you can get cool:

• omg[.]lol domain, profile and now page
• omg[.]lol email forwarding
• statuslog, URL shortener and pastebin
• mastodon server access
• even more…

.

after changing my mastodon's account server, I keep typing mastodon[.]social instead of social[.]lol 🥴 .

is this on?

Learning!
