    I’m finding so many little things I love about @OmarchyLinux already. Here’s one small example. The Bluetooth area was showing way too many devices because I have a ton of Govee lights and random smart home stuff around the house. So I jumped into Codex and had it change that

    We evaluated 3 log aggregation tools in 2023: Splunk, Datadog, and Loki. Splunk: $8,000 per month, powerful, way too expensive Datadog: $3,200 per month, great UI, still expensive Loki: Free, integrates with Grafana, good enough Picked Loki. Two years later it still just works.

    This. People telling me Kubernetes is “overengineered” and “you don’t need it unless you’re a FAANG” are telling me they don’t have basic understanding of ops challenges. And if they say “just use Docker Compose in production,” well, that’s a fire-or-don’t-hire offense.
