settlement isn't just a rail, it's a business model. in the agentic age the value in the stack moves. my guess is it moves toward recon and reporting, which matter way more when agents are doing millions of txns disputes and fraud still need to exist. we should co-design them

decision makers don't open dashboards anymore. they ask their agent. if the agent gives a different answer every time, that's not an AI problem. that's a data problem. new job for data people: make insights deterministic, as an API, at scale. same mission, new interface.
