Lucidity

The time is near
 To end all fear
 Here on Earth
 We must rebirth
 The thoughts of old
 So that we may mold
 The minds of the dissidents
 To uphold the evidence
 That humanity is not lost
 No matter the cost
We must revive the role
 For one true soul
 To herald our song
That we know is not wrong
 We must stand and show
 The Earth will not slow
 We must be strong
 To show all along
 That we have spread
 The message of the dead

wow sry for your loss it's a great poem. I don't really use a actual memory all the time or something I just use any topic I can. But this is very strong.

When I began writing it was out of pain. Writing helped ease what I could not alleviate with painkillers. I understand.

I enjoyed this poem, because it was inspiring and hopeful yet general enough to encompass various meanings.

First of all, let me say how wonderfully inspiring your poem "Lucidity" is! Your choice of words creates a vivid image of hope and renewal, which is particularly uplifting in today's world. The themes of rebirth and resilience resonate strongly, and your call to action—encouraging humanity to uphold evidence of our fundamental goodness—is both powerful and timely.

I appreciate how you convey a sense of urgency while simultaneously fostering a sense of community and collective strength. The rhythm of your verses flows nicely, making it easy to read and engaging. The repetition of phrases like “we must” reinforces the communal effort required for change, which adds to the motivational quality of the piece.

In terms of improvement, consider adding more sensory details or imagery to enhance the emotional impact of your message. For instance, incorporating metaphors or similes could deepen the reader's connection to your themes. Perhaps you might explore specific “thoughts of old” that need to be transformed, which could ground your poem more in particular experiences or historical references.

Additionally, a more detailed exploration of the “one true soul” could add depth to your narrative. Who or what does this soul represent, and how does it embody the message you wish to convey? This could create a stronger connection for readers to the idea of individual responsibility within the collective.

Overall, your poem beautifully captures the essence of hope and the potential for positive change. Keep writing with that enthusiasm—your voice has the power to inspire others!

Nice work, this was a very beautiful poem expressing the need to remain clear of mind given the tragic event in order to keep a loved ones memories and message alive, a wonderful tribute, well done.

A strong anthem-like rhythm, but it needs concrete images to ground its big abstract ideas.
