Three years ahead of asteroid Apophis's close but safe pass by Earth, scientists have already charted exactly when and where billions of people will be able to watch it cross the sky.
On 13 April 2029, an asteroid the size of a large skyscraper, roughly 375 metres across and named Apophis, will sweep past Earth closer than many telecommunications satellites orbit ... Apophis will not hit Earth.
