Welcoming the whole Rabbinate
This workshop will help congregations that are engaging in the clergy placement process to better understand how implicit bias unknowingly informs our organizational processes. Participants will learn how to prioritize equitable recruitment and hiring processes resulting in a more diverse applicant pool. This training is specifically for members of USCJ clergy placement committees. In addition, please feel free to also attend if you are a hiring manager or on other hiring committees.
RegisterFinancial Planning for Educators: Are You Looking Forward to Your Financial Future?
Join us on October 15 for an informative webinar with Ben Tisser, Benari Capital. Ben is also a Cantor, having served USCJ congregations for over 20 years. That experience gives him unique insight into the unique needs of Jewish clergy, educators and communal professionals. His focus is on assisting colleagues in planning for a successful and enjoyable retirement (whether or not you have a JRB account) by taking a holistic view of their household financial situation, creating tax efficiency with compensation (i.e. more money in your pocket, when possible), and providing financial education to his clients in simple language — as he believes that everyone has the right to understand their finances.
