    Ruby との出会いは @gotoken が26年くらい前に高専の授業で「Ruby って言う面白い言語があってさあ」と応用数学の講義無視して1コマ延々と ruby-math の話をしたのがきっかけです #rubyrelease30th

Ruby 4.1.0dev on Windows (mswin, not mingw) is getting faster. On the ruby-bench headline benchmarks, the 4.1 dev build runs 1.32x faster than 4.0 without a JIT, and 2.19x faster with YJIT, which now works on mswin. Stay tuned for the 4.1 release.

@dhh will join Omarchy "Tokyo Night" on October 14. If you want to talk about Omarchy's Japanese language setup or the Linux desktop, this is a great chance to do it with dhh in person. omarchy-tokyo.connpass.com/event/407638/

Here is today's AI-generated code from me. github.com/ruby/ruby/pull… YJIT finally works on Windows (mswin), about 2x faster than the interpreter on ruby-bench's headline benchmarks.
