Thanks to the amazing work of @iTrooz_, ImHex can now be compiled for the web!
And the best thing: It supports every feature that the regular version supports too, except things that require direct hardware access.
ImHex can now optionally interface with AI agents when enabled in the settings!
This has been requested quite a lot lately and now tools like Claude can directly open files, read data and most importantly execute pattern language code
Managed to get the Liquid Glass effect working on macOS :)
If your theme has a transparent background color, it will now use that effect instead of just being translucent
Absolutely insane project.
I had bets running for over 6 years for doing this too but never got anywhere near these results.
My custom MSIL Interpreter that I wrote for that bet was able to run some extremely basic executables but never anything more
And now, for something completely unhinged: I ported mono, the C# runtime, as a switch homebrew.

It works somewhat but it's just a PoC. You can play around to run your own programs though.
