I am using X11 on Nvidia and I don't have this issue. Please post a minimal reproducer here.

Hi All. I am working on a Python application to provide intuitive API to I2C devices and as a part of that I had to develop code editor for python. This code editor now working reasonably well and so I have made it into a python library and deployed it to pypi. Perhaps someone else might find it useful as well. https://pypi.org/project/qppte/ - package on pypi https://github.com/Brainless-Software/qppte - source code on GitHub. https://brainless-software.github.io/qppte/ - documentation

Thanks a lot for all this information. It has helped me get clarity on the questions that have been bugging me for weeks. I can now decide better what I want to do, and why. I will definitely share these with them ideas about unifying the UI for mobile and desktop with Qt, as it seems like it doesn't necessarily warrant replacing starting their application from scratch, only their UI code will get replaced (and its bindings).

@VerEng can you try to perform the click on the actual computer, instead of through remote control? I seem to recall cases where use of remote control tools interfered with the click that is meant to pick.

Please check with the Gerrit admins if that is doable.
