H₂S scavenger platforms

Two chemistry platforms. One operating standard.

SULX-210™ and NITX-310™ are designed for contact towers, direct injection and mixed treatment.

SULX-210™

WATER-SOLUBLE
NON-TRIAZINE PLATFORM
FOULING-FREE

SULX-210™ is a water-soluble, non-triazine formula designed to reduce scaling impact and help avoid pipeline or tower plugging during over-injection and high-H₂S service.

PERFORMANCE / 01

Capabilities

  • Higher H₂S uptake capacity than conventional triazine
  • Faster scavenging kinetics
  • Stronger thermal stability under demanding conditions
OPERATING IMPACT / 02

Advantage

  • Non-hazardous spent chemistry
  • No dithiazine solids formation
  • Reduced solids-control, scaling, and plugging risk

FIELD FIT DEPENDS ON STREAM COMPOSITION · H₂S LOADING · CONTACT TIME · TEMPERATURE

NITX-310™

NITRITE-BASED
CATALYZED PLATFORM

NITX-310™ combines nitrite with a patented catalyst system. The platform is designed for higher-H₂S service with MEA-triazine-equivalent integrity, solid elimination, corrosion inhibition, and lower treatment cost.

Performance in operating context

Chemistry is only useful when the system keeps moving.

Chemflo’s development work connects scavenger performance to the realities operators manage: H₂S loading, temperature, over-injection, deposition, corrosion, and downstream restriction risk.

01

Capacity & kinetics

Compare how candidate formulations capture H₂S and how quickly the reaction progresses under defined conditions.

02

Solids & scaling

Evaluate chemistry with pipeline and tower plugging risk, dithiazine formation, and scaling impact in view.

03

Thermal stability

Assess formulation direction against the temperature conditions expected in the intended hydrocarbon service.

04

System integrity

Consider corrosion inhibition, solid dispersion, and treatment cost alongside scavenging efficiency.

Development path

From stream conditions to formulation direction.

A controlled bench program combining oilfield feedback keeps the work anchored to the treatment target and the evidence required for a go/no-go decision.

STEP / 01

Define the stream

Frame the hydrocarbon medium, H₂S challenge, operating envelope, and treatment objective.

STEP / 02

Build candidates

Develop formulations suitable for controlled small-scale evaluation.

STEP / 03

Compare performance

Test candidate formulations and examine results under defined conditions.

STEP / 04

Validate direction

Identify whether a formula warrants further development toward manufacturing.

Technical project review

Bring the operating envelope into the lab.

A useful evaluation begins with the stream, treatment target, and constraints. Those inputs define the test conditions and the performance criteria worth measuring.
